Great help !!
I will have this inlet valve checked out, given the history of these going bad is it to the point one should buy a new now?
I mean one main board at $125 isnt that bad but how badly are they known to be frying these things?

Thanks again

There is no real good answer to that one, but from what i've seen the orginal production controls were lasting 5-6 years dependant on usage. I think the replacement controls have fixed/improved the problem so you should be good for sometime to come with the replacement.

Thanks again Carson
I filled the washer with hot brewed water and turned the washer on and it immediatly came up (as always has recently) with one big F
the water drained and it just kept on running, this was after I took my inlet valve off to get it tested, the repairman said it seems OK, blew some stuff out and sent me home, after suggesting to run it with hot water to see ..... I guess if it is cycling..
Anyway after over an hour I checked to see all the water was gone

If I need to order a new inlet valve and new board so be it
I and the wife REALLY need to be done with this........

any specific guidance?

thx again all

Can I hi-jack this thread? I have the same model, same age (6yrs old). When I start a regular wash cycle the time now starts at 2h instead of 91 min - it does run for 2 hours and then never gets past 1 min. The heater problem which seems to be mentioned a lot here would account for the 1 min issue but no one has mentioned the cycle time starting at 2h rather than 91. Any thougths? I have had the controller board replaced once before - at year 1.

Quick Update

Installed new Main board and MAN its nice to be able to push the buttons for various cycles and have them actually change the cycle!!
All the plastic tabs had broke off of the original

Put it all back together and no error codes yet NO water, next to get a inlet valve.....

Tough one to squeeze back together,
THANKS again guys
