Last week my dryer would not get hot, I cleaned duct hooked back up and it got hot..i thought problem solved..dryed 2 loads..NOT HOT again I checked my heating element with an ohm meter and it reads about 12 ohms checked power to element and it varies between 185v and 200v is this normal for it to fluctuate back and forth between 185 and 200 or should it be a constant 220v ? if so what part would cause this? I also checked thermal fuse and thermostat with a test light and a battery and both allow voltage to pass through them...but when i check them with the ohm meter, they spike up and then sit on 0 I am no electrician so I dont know what they should read..any help?
