My ice maker will freeze up at the water in let and also clump up the ice cubes in the catch tray. Water will also run down the back wall in the freezer and freeze up too. Any idea why this would happen? This first happen years ago and I took it apart and defrosted it and it was fine till now. I repeated what I did last time, but it happen again after it filled the ice tray half way. Thanks in advance for any help with this problem. Rick90

Sounds like the water inlet valve on the back of the refrigerator is not closing properly, causing an excessive amount of water into the ice maker and, then slow dripping. - The water inlet valve Part number: AP3961809
