The countdown timer on my Bosch dishwasher stops at 1 minute and continues to run. Opening door shows soapy water in bottom of washer. Closing door resets the timer to 13 minutes which then counts down to 1 and then continues to run. Will replacing the control module (shu 53/68) fix the problem? Any Suggestions?

That has been the most common culprit on Bosch when the unit hangs up...

As bambiblaster said, it has been one of most common problem caused by a bad control module. Replacing the control module should fix it.

- The part number for the control module is AP2802870
