We have a two year old Whirlpool Cabrio top loader Model Number WTW6300SW0. It won't spin or agitate. Got an F50 fault code and one F41 saved code. Ran through all the diagnostics and replaced the RPS sensor and wiring harness. Still no difference. Diagnostics point to replacing the machine motor control assembly, but who knows if that will work. Any thoughts? I don't want to keep replacing things on this computer controlled machine that's only two years old. Any idea on what the problem is? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The problem is that for some reason manufacturers decided to put microprocessors in appliances. What do microprocessor not like; moisture, heat and vibration. What does a washer have??? That's how I got to replacing the RPS sensor. Now it says if that doesn't work I should replace the motor control unit. I'm trying to avoid an expensive bunch of trial and error.

I agree and sympathize with your desire not to just use trial and error on parts replacement, but the not so top secret in the repair business is that much of the repair work with electronic controls is that the way you fix them is to keep replacing parts until you find a combination that fixes things. This is why the repair techs who comes to your house has a truck full of boards which they keep substituting until you are fixed. Unfortunately this does not work for the do it yourself owner.
See if the manual does not give you some ways to test out the board, but I am afraid that at the end of the day you will just have to try it on speculation.

This reference to the Whirlpool Repair Manual for Cabrio washers was helpful for an unrelated problem: noisy spin cycle. Whirlpool apparently no longer offers a repair manual for these models at retail. Thank you, sidfink43, wherever you are.

Seems to keep leaking water into pan on bottom ,turn machine over just can not find leek it's whirlpool fabric way to much electronic
