The burner on my Kenmore gas dryer lights and burns for 5 minutes, but then shuts off. After that, every 30 seconds or so, the igniter glows for a few seconds, but then goes out without lighting. I've done successful resistance tests on the the two solenoids, operating thermostat, and all the limit switches. Please help! Edit: Schematic Attached rbautch attached the following image(s):

Just had the same problem on my GE gas dryer. Even though the coils checked out initially, seems they fail later in the cycle. I replaced both coils today and the dryer works fine now.

Turns out it was the 2-prong main coil. Replaced it for $13, and it's working again.

Awesome. I would have replaced the other coil at the same time also.
