Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/21/2009(UTC) Posts: 3		kitchenaid oven burner won't light. New igniter and burner ordered. Old ignitor tip has carbon deposits. Can the carbon deposits be cleaned so that the oven will work while waiting for delivery of the new burner?

Can you describe more specifically what happens after the Bake turned On? What is the serial number of the range? Gene.

Gas smell was present while awaiting it to light. After removal of igniter, Ohm check was 1-2 ohms. Thanks for your help
