Sensor for starting and stopping cold water does not work. Can you tell me wht part needs to be ordered?

The problem is that I have to manually turn the cold water on and off to fill the tub with water or stop it from overfilling.

Yes if the only way to shut the water off is by shutting off the tap then you need a new valve assembly. A valve is stuck open.
If you can shut it off by just unplugging the machine then your problem is elsewhere. This could be the timer or more likely a problem with the water level switch. |
