Hi I have a FRIGIDAIRE GLGF388ABC its about 3 years old and all of a sudden the digital oven display isn't working. What can I do? The stove top was working but now its not even lighting? I tried unpluging it and still nothing. If I order a new display will that fix the problem?

Thanks,

S

The first thing I would check if there is 120V at the power outlet.

If nothing works - the problem most likely is with the power source.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Frigidaire range Model GLGF388ABC

I have checked the Ac outlet and there is no problem. The whole digital display is out. After I noticed it I tried the cook top and it light, no problem. I have tried it since and it no longer lights and the pilot light is also out. I do however still have gas that will come out from the cook top. So I no its not the plu or the gas. By changing the digital display do you think it would repair the problem? I know this oven is supposed to be all "computer" digital controled.

Thanks,

S

The "digital display" or the EOC controls the oven only. The ignition for the top burners operates by the ignition module.

It's very unusual for both of these parts went bad at the same time. Thats why I need you to make sure there is nothing wrong with the power supply.

Remove the back cover and check the power cord connection to the range.

Check for 120V at the terminal block.
