ok... upon doing some research and a little tinkering, i found that my chopper motor was frozen up. I was able to free it up and get it to work... well kind of! Now its making a aweful grinding sound. I would assume that this is the motor going out? Anyone know where i can find the part and maybe some instructions on how to change it out?

Thanks in advance!

Joe

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for gu1500xtk models | AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is the tech sheet
http://www.servicematters.com/d...0Sheet%20-%208533399.pdf

And a manual
https://secured.whirlpoo...520548/$FILE/8178022.pdf

Could be the motor but I would pull it apart and check the impeller etc. before ordering parts.
