Oven would not lite. Was getting an F3 error code. I have replaced oven sensor as instructed by this site. After replacing sensor I plugged oven back in and now I am getting an F1 error code. The oven still will not lite. Please help.....over a month without an oven!

Try to enter a test mode by completing the following procedure: pres Bake, slew down to 100°F, hold down the bake key for 3 seconds. The control will flash the Preheat indicator and display the sensor temperature. At this time the display will also indicate the last recorded fault code, which is stored in the control. The fault code should be displayed by indicating an "F" follower by TWO numerals. Post the result.

It was just "F1" stored in memory or it was one more number after "1" when you ran a test mode?

If it was just "F1", then the control board is the culprit.

- The control board Part number: AP4428977
Part number: AP4428977

It just beeps and says F1. Is it common for the sensor and display to go bad at the same time?

Might be the sensor was not bad? Have you measured the sensor resistance?

You have to replace the control board, not the touch pad.
