Try to enter a test mode by completing the following procedure: pres Bake, slew down to 100°F, hold down the bake key for 3 seconds. The control will flash the Preheat indicator and display the sensor temperature. At this time the display will also indicate the last recorded fault code, which is stored in the control. The fault code should be displayed by indicating an "F" follower by TWO numerals. Post the result.

Quote:... I did as you instructed... It was just "F1" stored in memory or it was one more number after "1" when you ran a test mode? If it was just "F1", then the control board is the culprit. - The control board Part number: AP4428977

It just beeps and says F1. Is it common for the sensor and display to go bad at the same time?

Might be the sensor was not bad? Have you measured the sensor resistance?
