Connect the Blue and the White wires together.

Tried that and it still wont run gene. I put my meter on ac 250 and checked the outlet. I have a 4 pronged plug. I put red lead on one side and black in one of the round holes and I have no reading. I noticed in the breaker box the the dryer breaker does lock firmly into on position. Can this be my problem?

No doubt the problem is there. You have to call a certified electrician to replace the breaker.

Dryer up and running again. Slight problem though, I dropped a screwdriver bit to my drill down the link screen vent and its lodged in the track where the screen slides. Banged and banged....turned the dryer over....nothing. Its alittle beyond where the vent curves and my hand can no loner reach, even with a screw driver in hand I couldnt pop it out.

You have to remove the rear cover and the air duct (on the left). You can not remove the air dust completely without disassembling the whole dryer but you can lift the bottom of the air duct which should be good enough to reach this piece. Try to use a magnet.

:) :) :) thank you so much. I didnt think there was access on the air duct but when jacked it up a bit I saw the large hole. It was big enough for me to wedge a screwdriver behind the lodged item and free it. Plus I found a lost tool !!!!!!!! You have taught me so much about my dryer I might just keep it for another 20 yrs! Have a wonderful day, thanks again!

Same kenmore dryer, different problem. She won't heat up now. Runs but no heat. Maybe I should keep this dryer on a dolly for a few months? They say stuff like this runs in 3's. Any help appreciated.
