Washer will fill but won't agitate, or it will agitate and not go into the spin cycle. I ordered a new control assy. from Appliance Parts Pros and installed the part, and the washer still won't complete a full cycle. Any ideas?

Unfortunately GE will not release technical data to the outside, so I can only give you the generic answer, which is to check all of the wiring. There may be a frayed or partially broken wire or connection which is causing your problem. I would take off the wire harness at the motor and clean the contacts with eletrical contact cleaner also.
Hope this helps.

Great, glad that worked and that you got it going without any cost for parts or that expensive tech visit.
Thanks for the update.
