i have a gas range, when the oven is turned on it ignites, then heats to the required temperature ,then it normally cuts out .when the oven cuts back in to reheat to the required temperature i get a gurggling sound from the oven, even as the tube is lit .it sounds like when your barbecue blows out in the wind .i have installed a new igniter and have checked the brass jet for wear and dirt.the flame tube appears to be straight over the jet and all holes free of dirt. where should i turn next.

Remove the oven floor and the flame spreader.
Turn the bake "on" and watch the flame.
The approximate length of the flame of the oven burner is a 1/2" distinct inner blue flame.
If you see the distinct blue flame but lifting - close the burner air shutter (on the bottom of the burner tube) to the point where it will not cause the flame to lift or blow off the burner when cold.

Remove the burner and, using a toothpick, clean the hole in the orifice.
