Purchased a used Amana ARG7102W. Oven did not work but broiler did. Ordered a new igniter, installed it but same problem occurs. Igniter lights up but gas never comes on. Confirmed that broiler still works. Thanks for the help.

Confirmed that broiler still works. Thanks for the help. Bump, You're going to need a multimeter so we can check for voltage to the igniter and from the igniter to the burner gas valve. Part number: AP4282628
You should have 120 VAC across the igniter wires from the oven control. You should then have 3.2 to 3.6 VAC across the wires at the gas valve, bake solenoid when the igniter is glowing. If you can access a"clamp on" ammeter, your system should draw 3.2 to 3.6 amps when the igniter is glowing. Good Luck, :) :) :)

Removed gas valve and the oven burner outlet was wet. Apparently the stove had been in a flood. Cleaned it, let it dry and it works fine now. **Beware of used appliances** I just paid $50 for it though so I guess it worked out pretty good.
