Got up this morning and noticed refrig not cold. Freezer cold and frosted up vents in back. Repair man said thermotat or defrost timer. Is it an easy job to DI yourself or let him doit.

repair people said they want to replace defrost timer 45.00, defrost heater coil, 30.00 and the defrost thermostat 20.00 plus 60.00 service call, plus 1-3 hrs labor at 60.00. I went ahead and ordered thru you all 3 parts they were going to replace and i will start with the timer first and see if that takes care of the problem. I have already defrosted the coils and turned back on and already 40 degrees in the refrigerator part. any comments would be appriciated.
