For about the last year in the middle of a cycle the machine starts beeping and flashing code F11. At First I could get it to start again by pressing pause and then start again but for the past two weeks it wont start at all. Any suggestions without having to replace the mcu and interface.

F11 Serial communication error Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.
Potential Causes
• Check Wire Harness connections to the MCU, the motor, and Central Control Unit (CCU) • Check the Drive system for any worn or failed components • Check MCU • Check CCU • Check Motor • Check Wire Harness
Replace failed component.
This is what the code list gives. Open the top of the machine and see if you can find the wiring diagram/troubleshooting guide. Run the tests and look for any loose or bad connections. When you determine what part it is just let us know and we will get you the price and availability.

I removed the CCU and tapped all the relays. And cleaned the solder points on the back of the board with new solder. Took connectors "small" and bent the pins in very very slightly with a pick. Put it back together worked fine. Until six months later the motor went out and sent a charge up the MCU blowing up the capacitors. And burning a resistor in the CCU. Biggest most expensive hunk of junk I own.
