Took delivery of new dishwasher yesterday, installed it today. Once all hooked up, I closed the door, and the machine automatically started (set on auto wash). No leaks in my plumbing :) , so I cancelled the program as per manual (hold down cancel and reset buttons for a few seconds), and machine drained. A little later we loaded and tried to run a quick wash, but the control panel wouldn't respond to anything - there was a 0 on the display and the Auto wash button was lit, and we couldn't change this. In the end turning off the machine and holding down right cancel/reset button and then holding down power button for a few seconds (the method for changing cycle completion signal) was how I cleared this - I was then able to select any program. I set it for quick wash, and the program ran. Now, we have the same issue. 0 on the screen, and the Quick Wash button light is on. I can't get anything to change, and machine doesn't run quick wash if door closed. I have tried the combinations of buttons to cancel a program and for the various functions in the manual, nothing, as well as a few other combinations. Turned off breaker for 45 minutes, nothing. Is this a dud right out of the box, or am I missing something? I'm hoping I am missing something, but don't think I am. Great introduction to Bosch. What a day.. Now going to get a cold beer... Thanks for any insight, Kodge.

In case anyone has the same issue, it turned out to be the control panel. Tech said it would be three weeks before new part would be available, so I spoke to Sears Customer Service and they agreed to send a replacement dishwasher (as they had delivered a faulty new one). 10 days later I installed the new one - works fine, very quiet, sparkling dishers.
