no air is coming threw the vents from the freezer.
I took the back off the fan is working that blows on
bottem coils.ice as built up on the coil that is in fridge vent
where air is suppose to come out..:confused: I just bought this unit
a couple of days ago off of (craigs) it was used..

Any suggestions would be helpful I need to fix this temperature inside unit is about 46 degrees food is just barley cool the meat tray vent is working air is blowing out of it that is why it a little cool Im guessing

There are two fans. The one you need to check is located in the freezer compartment. You can check to see if it is running by openint the freezer and listening for it. If you don't hear it running (it does not run while unit is in defrost mode), you'll need to find out why and correct it accordingly. If you do hear it running, there may be a malfunctioning or blocked damper (that's the port where cold air is channeled into your refrigerator section.

it is now working I hit the side of fridge and it started up

the problem now is I got to keep smacking it to get it to work and thats not good??the fan will kick on after I hit it, but when it cools inside and
go off, when the compressor kick back on to cool again the air wont blow out into fridge once more intill I smack it, then the fan will start up and blow again..so do I need to replace it are do you think it might have a short in it :confused: :confused: :confused:

You may have a loose connection at the fan. You'll need to remove the panel at the rear inside your freezer to access the evaporator fan.
