Top burners working fine. Overnite the panel on the front lit up with: 888(where the oven temp would be)and 88:88 (where the clock/timer portion is). Looks like all the panel lights are on as well. Tried to reset and also turned the power off/on to no affect. Cannot find any direction in the troubleshooting guide I found on line.

Most likely the problem is a bad Electronic Range Control. It has to be replaced together with the clock plate which has a different part number depending on its color. - The ERC Part number: AP2633034

The parts recommended to be replaced arrived today. Of course it is not an exact match to the original part. I followed the instructions step by step but now the only thing working is the oven light. Attached a couple of pics of the new part. ERC does not even light up. Which would indicate to me that no power is getting to the EC unit. Oven has power as the light works. Instructions state that the ground wire (green) does not get hooked up to the new ERC (and no place for it to do so anyway). Any direction would be greatly appreciated, getting tired of eating out and worse my wife is having way too much fun at my expense at this point. Thanks Bob:confused: FYI - no instruction given for the part marked malefemale, came loose ion the shipping package. BobChurch attached the following image(s):

As far as I remember there suppose to be "L" or "L1" terminal on the new ERC and the black wire should be connected there as well.
Can you post the instructions came with the ERC?
Gene.

Bob,
Thank you for the instructions but I can not read them - fonts are too small and it is not possible to enlarge it without loosing quality. It might be better if you'll attach the file to the reply instead of post it in the reply body.
Gene.
