The ice dispenser hinged door doesn't close properly. How can it be replaced?

Thanks for the information. Some progress has been made. However, I find that the ice disposer flapper will not close reliably. A cube or piece of ice remains in the outlet of the hopper preventing the flapper from closing. Consequently warm air enters through the flapper opening and that results in melting of ice in the hopper and total non-operation of the ice dispenser. Do your think the spring for the flapper has lost sufficient tension or is there another reason for the ice remaining in the hopper outlet? When the hopper is empty, the flapper closes every time.

I would take it apart and check all parts involved.
Gene.

Gene, Thank you. I checked the parts and found the solenoid armature badly corroded. It appears that could be the source of the problem.
