Hope someone can help me with this problem, the washer machine sounds so loud when it is spinning and shakes violently, and sometimes it does not spin at all, I have replaced the timer about a year ago, and the motor is working, and it does pump out the water.I have been looking around and have found that it may be the transmission. What do you guys think? Thanks

I would remove the front panel and look above the tranny for a leaking tub seal. If so, this is a big repair job requiring special tools and a hub bearing kit and seal. Probably a $200 job for a repair person, might want to replace the washer.
