The ice maker stopped making ice. There is ice in the tray, but did not eject it. The ice dispenser works, it dispenses cubes and crushed ice,but no new ice is being made. I suspect that it is the ice maker itself. does the ice maker also control the water flow into the tray?

Wha'ts the temp inside the freezer. Have you ever cleaned your condenser coil.

The temp inside the freezer is around 0 to 5 and I just cleaned the condenser coils.

if you have ice in the ice maker and the i.m. is not advaning. were are the arms of the i.m at. 2:00 7:00 10:00.

the i.m. thermostat close and will advanse the i.m. at 17 degs. you may have bad I.M. thermostat are module.

The IM is all the way down at about 5 o'clock poss. Would the refrig try to refill the tray if i empty it or does it have to go thru a full cycle?
