Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/21/2009(UTC) Posts: 4		I got a one owner 53 fridgedaire for free on craigslist and was told it worked, but when I got it home and plugged it in it kicked on and immediately turned off. 10 minutes go by and it does it again. I can fix cars but know nothing about fridges and can't afford a repair man. Can someone help me?

It may have allways had damaged windings. Dunno whithout looking. I have seen compressors function fine into a clogged capillary.
