First,...machine will not run now....it makes a motor humming type sound. We are thinking that the pump is locked up and the belt is showing wear.

So, first....should we replace the pump,...is it possible something got down in the pump and locked it up. That would explain the noise and why it won't start, and why motor noise...because motor turns but belt doesn't...we think. So....there's the Aeeeeaaeee sound like the motor is one...but nothing will turn or go on.

How do you take off the front panel? There are two clips on the bottom that hold the panel on,...but we can't figure out how to get them off without damaging the panel.

What would you suggest doing?

Using a putty knife, or a similar tool, depress the spring clips at the top corners of the front panel, while lifting the top away at the same time. Inside the front panel, you'll find a 5/16 inch hex drive screw at each top corner. Remove them abd the panel will then rock off the clips you see at the bottom.
