Have GE side by side #”GSS22KGPC WW” that the food side is freezing up started yesterday appears that the compressor is always running also the water dispenser in door is frozen.

You might have a jammed damper door AP3420682 in the refrigerator left side.
If ok and allways moves to the open position when you manually close it, you might have a bad motherboard AP4297272 or bad thermister in the fridg section. The fact that it is running constantly tells me it may just be a stuck power relay on the motherboard.
If you have no meter and meter skills, best to get it serviced.
You can disconnect the damper door motor cable and jam half way open the damper door. Your fridg will work fine till service person comes. Some of my customers just leave it that way, can't afford service cost! You just take a risk in case the motherboard is bad and getting worse.

Pull your schematic and check the thermistor resistance of the fridg thermistor at the motherboard. But first I would check your damper door.

Seems that your damper door motor is working ok. What does the damper door do when you unplug refrigerator? I believe there is a spring in there that forces it shut.
If ok, I would check your thermistors for out of range resistance per your schematic.Thermister resistance 65Kohm at -13 degrees 12 kohm at +40 degrees., 5kohm at 78 degrees. The thermister pins are on the motherboard upper right J1 connector. J1- 5 common 5 volts, Ji-1 fresh food thermister, Ji-2 fresh food thermister, Ji-3 freezer thermister, J1-4 evaporator thermister used to terminate defrost.
The signals to the damper door are on/ off/ on/ off, no analog control signal. Frigidaire the same way, either you get voltage to open the door, or not, no voltage= door shut, voltage = door open. Makes it hard to troubleshoot!!
If you monitor the damper door and find it never closes and your thermistors check out ok, I would change your motherboard AP4297272

Very first "sticky" in this refrigerator section, just some facts for posterity that I added, probably not relative to your problem except IF the damper motor is bad, you must replace it or the motherboard will blow, you can thank GE for that.
