My old freezer quit. Well sort of, When you turn it on it runs until it reaches the set temp. Then it turns off and dosen't turn on again, but if you turn it off and back on it will come on and run to the set temp again and so on. I think it's the control. What do you think? If it's the control where can I get one? Thanks, Greathawk

Measure your freezer temperature and post, you might have other problems.

Probably a bit low on refrigerant, or the condenser has some obstruction. If condenser clean, I would get it serviced.
