You need to replace the main tub assembly bearing..The burning smell is coming from the belt due to bearing and it must replace too. The bearing cost is only $22.00 but to replace it will take time..call SEARS if you cannot do it.If they charge you too much like $350..better buy a new one in Costco or Home depot Appliance dept.the new one cost only $429.

Remove the front panel. Tilt the washer back and remove the belt. Start the washer and watch the motor. Manually rotate the pump pulley in both directions to see how freely it moves. Post the results.

Open the control panel and check the pressure hose connection to the water level switch. Remove the front panel and check the pressure hose connection to the pressure bulb (#13 on the diagram) and the pressure bulb itself.

Thank you Gene for the reply..The leak is coming out only in the left portion were the the tub is seating on the body(zink/Aluminum) that connects the motor. Do you think i have to replace #9 Kit, drive bell/seal? your soonest reply is highly appreciated.

Drive bell/seal is in the center of the tub and water leak should be there too. If it's on the left then it's something else.

If it's leaking in the center then probably the hub & seal assembly (#6) is what needed. In that case the repair is going to be more expensive and it is not easy job.

The most important at this time is to find out exactly where it's leaking from.
