My GE WCSR2090D5WW wont fill with water and wont turn on the spin cycle. Could this be something with the timer switch or am I way off and its something else? Thank you. EMT

Often that hose will stop up near the end that connects to the tub so if it stops working again check that.

It the timer brown if so they gave a lot of noise problems but it is uncommon for it to cause the washer not to spin. Are you sure it will agitate? On of the more common problems on your model is that the little white tab on the lid switch would fall but if this were the case it wouldn’t agitate either.GE Washer won't spin Repair Guide
