The plastic tip underneath the starter control on the front panel broke off. How difficult would it be for me to replace this part myself?

The model number you posted does not come up. The closest model number I found is Model LER331DS0 . Verify and repost the model number.

I'm afraid I did not clear which part you are talking about. Can you refer to the part using numbers form the diagram? Replacement parts for FRG LER331DS0 | AppliancePartsPros.com
