push to start was inop. tried to hot wire,started for a brief second,then somthing popped? replaced push to start and thermal fuse-timer clicks but thats about it?

Hi Rayson
Can you post your full model number.
If this is electric I would start by making sure you are getting 240 to the dryer. Use a meter to check that 120 v is coming to each outside terminal on the connector block.
