The timer works in fluff and in cool down mode. When you try to use the dryer in regular drying cycles the timer stops working as soon as the flame starts to heat up the dryer. I have tested the 4 thermostats and they all read 0 ohms when tested. I do hear a click right as the flame lights and the timer goes off.
This sound is coming from the bottom of the dryer.
Any help?

Hi Tom, Check the timer for continuity between the terminals "TM" and "N", the "TM" and the "TH", and the "TH" and the "A" when the timer is in regular cycle. If any of pairs is open, then replace the timer. - The part number for the timer is AP277902 - Here are the break down diagrams for the Magic Chef dryer Model YG224LMGood luck. Gene.

Maybe I'm blind but I see no "TH", only an "H"
"TM" to "N" tested fine
"TM" to "H" was open
"H" to "A" was fine
TM is black
H is yellow
A is red
N is white
I am doing this with the dryer unplugged and the timer set in a normal dry cycle where it normally has been not running

Most likely the problem is a bad flame sensor on the gas burner. - The part number for the flame sensor is AP2910747 Good luck. Gene.

Is there a way to test this? Also I think this is what is clicking right before the timer stops working

Also the dryer is heating up and the flame stays on just fine, it's just that the timer stops running when the flame is burning

Wait until the flame will go "off", disconnect the white wire from the timer terminal "N" and measure the voltage between the withe wire and the timer terminal "M" (hot).
It suppose to be 120V.

Ok, tried this again, TM to N tested fine and then I plugged it in, ran it in timed mode and when it kicked off (timer) I tested it again and it tested open.
Let it sit for a little bit and it tested fine again. I left the meter on it and plugged in back in and ran it and as soon I heard the flame start it read open again.
Will test the flame sensor now
