I have a Maytag Performa washer model PAV2300AWW. It started making a loud noise when it's spinning or agitating.. otherwise works correctly. Any idea what the problem could be?

Probably a bad pump, just tilt back, remove belt and check.

When they make noise, they are really bad with rough bearings and start to leak water.
