One of the Door Cables broke and the door just flops down now. I removed the lower panel and looked inside. One of the Springs (part# 44) was still hooked onto the broken, flat end of the Cable (Part #8) but neither Spring was attached to anything else. When the one Cable broke did it release the other Spring and Cable off the side of the door?

My question is: If I order a new set of cables does one end of the Cable attach to both Springs and then does it loop around the white plastic roller before attaching to the lower end of the door? Or does it just go around the white plastic roller? Do I repete the same for the other end of the Springs? Or are the Springs attached independently of eachother to the Frame somewhere? Should I replace the Springs as well at this time?

Looking at the diagram

you can see the cable (#8) connected to both springs (#44) and the other end of the cable goes around the roller. This end of the cable then should be connected to the door hinge (plugs into the round slot).

If the springs are not broken then you do not have to replace them.
