I'm guessing on the age of my machine. It stopped spinning so I took it apart to see if the belt fell off or something. By the time I was done the belt really did fall off and now I can't get it back together. (sigh) Any help would be appreciated.

Where did you find the belt in this washer?:) This is a direct drive model and it does not have any belts by design.

So what is going on and in what condition is your washer now?

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool washer Model LSR7233BW2

My washer is currently in about 5 pieces.
1. The top panel that has the knobs on it.
2. The back panel is (mostly) removed and leaning on the wall. I'm not strong enough to get the thing off that attaches the drain hose.
3. & 4. Two plastic tubes about 3 inches long with what looks like nails sitting loosely on the inside. The 'nails' each have a hole near the pointed end, like to thread something through it. One plastic tube fell off when I was messing around trying to figure out if the 'belt' was supposed to be laying there or actually attached to something. I found and removed the second plastic tube just to see if I could. They are easily attachable and removeable. In fact, this was the only easy part of this entire operation.
5. What I thought was a belt, which may be a gasket, is laying loosely around a big circle thing at the bottom, under the washer. I really can't see much with just the back panel removed and I'm not sure I can really get the rest off because the front and side panels are all one piece.

Using the cabinet removal instructions and the break down diagrams linked above, try to assemble the washer back together.
