The tub fills but the machine won't agitate or spin. I took of the motor and the motor coupling and the whirlpool pump look good. Is there any way to test the motor? The motor part number is 8258158 and is discontinued. If necessary can I replace it with AP6010250?

Does it make any noises at all?

Will it drain the water out?

Only drains when you lower the drain hose and does not make any noise at all.
