Water will come in and also drain, but tub will not move at all. I took the back off and checked the belt...it is ok.
My son overloaded the washer with heavy, wet jeans and other teenage type items. He then fell asleep (no on else was home). When we came home, the machine had bounced across the floor pretty well.
My guess is that he fried the motor, which costs about $190 just for the part.
Is there a way for me to "bench test" the motor once I remove it from the machine to see if it is still working (before I drop $200 on a motor)???
Thanks!
