My washer all of a sudden started making a horrible screeching/buzzing noise at the end of the wash cycle, when trying to go into the drain/spin cycle. It will still operate fine during wash or rinse, but won't drain or spin

The screeching/buzzing noise and no drain, would indicate the assembly has failed or may be clogged with debris. The pump is located in the right rear corner of the base area, you'll need to slide the washer out, remove the rear access panel, and the assembly will be located on the left side of the opening , down on the base.
