I have replaced the lid lock switch and now all I get is a clicking in the control panel. I re-configured and performed all test but still just a clicking in control panel and nothing on the lid lock. Is the control panel shot? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Chris

Hi.
What was the reason to replace the lid lock?
Simon.

Simon. Thanks for the reply but it's definately the control panel as for the lid lock the magnets or metal in the switch had rusted and corroded and wouldn't lock the lid. Don't know how that shorted the control panel but I can actually see burn marks on the back of it where the lid switch plugs in. Chris

Hi.
Most likely the lid switch was "short" and killed the control board.
Simon.
