Ref does not cool freezer does not freeze. I checked the fan - ok. All coils and condenser areas are very clean. Replaced the complete ,oudle which plugs into the compressor. Checked all connections. I believe the module I got from APP's is the start relay and associated cap. ran 24 hrs, no change. Changed the freezer thermostat, no change after 24 hours.
I measured the Ohms on the 3 pins on compressor. I''l call them Top Center (TC); Bottom Left (BL); and Bottom Right (BR) as you look at them straight on. TC - BL = 5 ohms TC - BR = 3.5 ohms BL - BR = 7 ohms
Would this show the compressor motor to be in limits or ok? I just ordered the Defrost Timer thinking if it was stuck in defrost mode, it would not cool the freezer nor Ref. ?? I'll have this in 3 days.
If this does not fix it, is it time to have a on-site Tech come and check the Freon and coils for a leak? Or is there something else I can do? I'm thinking there is nothing left in the elect circuit? No boards, and I checked all connectors (good). Or is it time to toss this thing?
Thanks, Chris
