I have a Roper refrigerator that came with this 1M106 626636ice maker and needed to be replaced.
I ordered a new one and received a Fridgidare 1M115.
It looks the same - except the wiring harness. I thoughtno big deal – just cut off the plastic connector and replace them withinsulator butt connectors.
One problem - I now know, they don’t have the samecolor wire for two of the leads. (white and brown)
The new maker does not have test ports like the old one.
I do not have a wiring diagram/schematic available for the1M106 and the seller and manufacture was NO help.
I guessed and connected
fridge to - ice maker
Black to black (115v) hot
Green to green stripe
White to yellow
Brown to light blue
I am getting water in ice in the maker - but theheater is not working to allow the cubes to release.
I am assuming one the wires are not properly matched –Canyou guide me?
Any help would be greatly appreciated…

A fridge model number would help.
Then I may be able to find a wiring diagram which will show the ice maker hook up. |
