hi everyone. new to the forum, glad to be here. my frigidaire will make ice, push it out of the ice bin but will not dispsense it through the trap door. when i open the freezer door, i have to push it through the trap door manually into my glass. any help with this would be appreciated. thanks

There is a metal auger that is turned by a motor. The metal auger turns a plastic drum. You need to see if the motor is working. The best way to do this is to remove the ice bin, leave the door open, press the door switch press the lever to get ice and observe the bar drive (fork that sticks in the back of the ice bin). It should turn if not the motor is bad if it is turning something is broken in the ice bin such as the auger, drum, or the crusher cover (the plastic divider that separates the ice storage from the ice crusher).
