I have a LG combo washer/dryer. The dryer portion in leaves the clothes soak and wet when drying cycle is done. I cleaned the container that clogs up with lint. The heating element gets very hot. But still no drying. Anyone have any ideas?

I cannot find much in the way of tech info on this unit, hopefully someone else will have better luck.

Undo the dryer from the exhaust
Run a load
If the load dries correctly then you have a vent problem.
Clean/check the vent system. Make sure the outside louvers open fully.

If you do not want lint in the house.
Take a pair of pantyhose, put one leg into the other and attach this to the dryer exhaust.
Leave enough room behind the dryer so it can blow out like a windsock.
Run a load.

Both the above will allow you to check the air flow and temp.
Also the above is NOT recommended for a gas dryer due to possible carbon monoxide problems

This unit has a ventless lint system where the lint is supposed to wash away in the drain. Thanks but those tips wont help me any.

If you will post on the Dryer Forum some one should be able to help you.

From what you describe there is likely something obstructing the air flow. If the clothes are tumbling and the heater comes on and their is air flow then the clothes will dry.

Here is your parts breakdown.
Replacement parts for LG WM3431HS Washer | AppliancePartsPros.com

And here is a service manual
WM3431 LG Compact Washer & Dryer Combo Repair Service Manual - ApplianceDigest.com

You will have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and the only place I know of that would have this manual.
I was surprised they had it when I went searching for more info on your unit, it has been added since aj started up this new site a couple months ago. Thank you AJ.

Perhaps the diagnostics will help but I doubt it since you are not getting any errors.
You need heat and air flow for proper drying. You said you have heat so that is why it is probably an air flow problem.
With this unit you also need the condensate system/exchanger to have a temperature difference so the water will condense out.

With luck someone will jump in who has actually worked on one of these.
I do not know about sidfink but I have never even seen one.

I have not seen one either, and the combo technology is a tough one. Denman's reference to the manual should help. I was giving the generic solution to lack of drying (and in an unexplained state of stupor had not seen Denman's response which should help you fix things)

Good luck.
