Greetings, I have a Maytag Atlantis. The timer is not advancing in either the auto nor timed modes. I replaced the timer and it does not advance either. I double checked all the connections for connectivity and placement and they are all good. I cleaned the moisture sensor and while I am getting a good reading from the moisture monitor, the timer is still not advancing in auto mode.

What is my next step? I have read a few forums and I am not getting very good direction.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a faulty dryness board. Part is no longer available from us or the manufacturer but you might find it somewhere. Search on part number 33002400. You can try unplugging the board and cleaning the board contacts and the connector contacts. If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged and jump the red and brown wires. This will allow the timer to work in timed dry only.

Hi Eric, Thank you for your responce. Would the "dryness board" you are refering to, be called the Electronic Dry Control on my Electrical Wiring Diagram?

Ok, I took another step and as per your instructions by "If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged and jump the red and brown wires. This will allow the timer to work in timed dry only." The timer does works in timed mode however it does not turn off when complete, it only rings the finish bell.

I'm confused. Timer works in timed dry normally or only when you jump the two wires? Dryer doesn't stop when timer gets into OFF position? Continues through OFF and into next cycle?
