Could not find any info with given Model Number.
Please check it.

Yes the door clip could be the problem.
Actuate the door switch manually. You may have to use a pencil or some other device to do this.
Just do a quick check. You could blow a thermal fuse if run too long with the door open.
Now does it work?

if the door is not hitting the little arm that is attached to the door switch, that could very well be your problem. the part # on the door switch is 279347. if that is not the problem it will most likely be your thermal fuse, which is located in the back of the the dryer, and is white in color, and has 2 wires going to it. you can jump out the thermal fuse by takeing the 2 wires off, and putting them together with a little tape, and then plugging the dryer in and see if it works. do not run the dryer with the fuse jumped out. it is a saftey devise, and this advise is for diagnosing only. the part # on the thermal fuse is 3392519. tom
