Replacing motor in dryer with new motor from APP/GE # WE17X10010. Have 2 issues with this replacement. #1 - the bearing on the fan side is one inch away from the mounting strap on the fan bracket. Can the bearing be moved toward the bracket? It appears to be a press fit. #2 – the wiring diagram provided with the motor is different than the numbering on the switch block. On the switch block under the contacts it’s numbered from left to right 1-9. On the wiring diagram and you turn it upside down, it reads 2,1,6,3,4,5 from left to right. The new motor is wired currently 3,4,5. It’s a bit disconcerting with the numbering on the switch block. Please advise on how to address these 2 issues. Thanks!
