Our above aforementioned fridge is playing jingle randomly.

That could be a door switch issue where the switch is barely being made and opens just enough to lose connection and cause the jingle as the unit expands and contracts during it’s processes. Check if the door ajar light is coming on on the UI when this happens or if you are randomly seeing the door ajar light come on as well.
If it is, you can check the door switches to see if the liner around them is sunken in or if the area on the door that makes the switches is, in which case you would use door switch shim pad WP2177331 to correct the issue.
If it doesn’t seem to be related to the door switches you may have another underlying factor such as a low voltage fan or other load that is failing and will likely be seeing PO or PF on the display at random times.
Thank you. I have noticed that if with the door open, I press the light switch on either side and let it go, the light comes on slowly. Does that indicate anything?
Not sure if that is normal for your model, some have that feature built in to the software where it goes on and off slowly
