What happens & when: wire to element is from terminal 2a on old burner and is from 1a on new burner

What is the part # of the burner you are trying to wire in? And if you could send a photo of the connectors on each it would help especially if you have the wires in their original places on the old element
difficult to send pictures, terminals were different on new burners so remembering from videos i kept the terminal markings the same. only thing was 1a and 2a were switched. so i went from 2a to 1a after figuring out they were common to each other. of course it left 1b and 2b for the other wires. they turned on fine. seems to regulate temp good also. thanks for the concern and im sure what would have been help. thanks again.
