Whirpool Estate..Bad Timer?

Will not agitate or spin. Lid switch is fine. I made a test cord and wired directly to motor wires, the motor agitates and spins just fine with test cord. Seems like a bad timer but how can I prove this?

I would go ahead and replace the timer and see if that fixes it. If you buy the timer from this site and that new one does not solve the problem you can return it.

Yep, that did it! Thanks!

Great, and thanks for the update
